Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

 

At Margaux Studios we operate a no refund policy, except in cases of there being a manufacturing fault (see below), but we are happy to offer exchanges and/or a credit note for full price items. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer exchanges on earrings. We do not offer exchanges or credit notes for made-to-order or customised/bespoke items. All sale items (including flash/or sample sale & discounted jewellery sets) are final sale and are also not eligible for exchange or credit notes. 


Manufacturing Faults

Margaux Studios uses high quality materials and we extensively stress test all our styles for a number of weeks prior to selling on our website. Every single item is thoroughly quality checked before being dispatched, and is presented in a high quality and durable Margaux Studios signature jewellery box & dust bag, which is posted to you in a secure and fully recyclable postage box. Some of our styles are relatively fragile and delicate, so please refer to our care guide upon receiving your item(s). 

Please inspect your item(s) carefully upon receipt. In the event of a suspected manufacturing fault, or if you believe your item has been damaged in transit to you, we request that you email a clear photograph of your jewellery and any packaging, along with your name, order number, date of purchase and a clear description of the issue.  We will then review and contact you to discuss options; in most cases, we will be happy to repair or replace the item. Where you are returning a faulty item to us, a refund (including all postage) will only be given after we have received and inspected the item. 

Please note that the following issues will not be classed as a manufacturing fault: snapped or twisted items; general wear and tear; damage resulting from heavy handling; oxidisation / fading of metal plating (refer to our care guide on how to avoid this); or pearls and beads that have been chipped, scratched or cracked. We reserve the right to deny any request for return, exchange, or repair.

If requested, we will do our best to replace any faulty item, provided the materials for a replacement are in stock and available. We can only replace faulty items for the exact same item. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when discussing the item in question with us. Please refer to our T&C's for more details.

If you purchased your Margaux Studios item from another retailer, please consult that retailer’s applicable policies. We are not responsible for items purchased from other retailers. 


How to Return

As we are a small business, we kindly ask that customers cover exchange costs. If you wish to exchange your jewellery please email us at info@margauxstudios.com within 14 days of receiving your parcel, quoting your original order number.

All returned items must be new, unworn and in original packaging (gift boxes and dust bags). We recommend that you send items back to us using our original cardboard postal box to prevent the item from getting damaged in transit. We also recommend using a tracked, signed and insured postal service and obtaining proof of postage. Margaux Studios is not responsible for items lost in transit to us and cannot guarantee we will receive returned items. Once we have safely received your returned items, we aim to process them as quickly as possible. 

Please allow up to 7 days from the date of your return being received for the refund to credit your original method of payment. Margaux Studios reserves the right to refuse any return requests which do not meet our return policy requirements as stated above.
